I’ve spent my working life moving between the lab, the enterprise and the founder’s desk, and carrying what each one taught me into the next.
Foundations
2002–2013
Computer and systems engineering at Mansoura University, with internships from 2005 at Schlumberger (wireline, A grade), ACT, Circuit Home Automation and Al-Arish Steam Power Plant. A Boeing-sponsored business programme for young engineers. An MSc in Information Technology at Nottingham, 2008–2009. Then systems work in Cairo: ITLogia, IT section head at Integrated Oil Industries, ITWorx, Vodafone International Services, and technical lead and site reliability on the Vodafone UK eShop at HP Enterprise.

Research
2010–2015
At Nottingham I wrote UCML, a language for modelling Android apps on the device itself, published at IEEE NGMAST in 2010 with the code on SourceForge. In Berlin I researched mobile computing at TU Berlin. At iMinds I did HCI research and was sole Android developer on a fall-risk project across wearable, phone and tablet. First place at Hack4Good in 2014, second at GDG DevFest Berlin in 2015.

Enterprise
2015–2023
Android engineering at Mobile Event Guide, Ubilabs and grandcentrix. Associate manager at Accenture DACH in Digital Industry X.0, where I led Android capacity in the Mobile App Studio and certified as a technology architect. Enterprise architect and product owner at Deloitte Consulting, in technology strategy and in innovation and ventures.

Founder
2019–now
I built Vision Nomads and sold it to focus on what came next. I founded BookTermin.de during the pandemic, so that shops could keep serving customers by appointment. Interim CTO at Monamy, director of digital intelligence at Horizon Connect. Since 2025, founder and Prokurist at Eleventures; since 2026, founder and advisor at SinAI Tech Ventures.

AI-native
2023–now
A professional certificate at Berkeley Haas in AI business strategy, then years of building with the tools themselves. Sinawy is what that became: an operating model where people decide and accept, agents do the stages between, and nothing advances on a result that was not checked.

What I hold on to
Technology shapes how people live, work and trust each other. I build with that in mind, which is why ethics runs through my writing in Bits & Ethos as a working concern rather than a job title. I’m also writing a book, Digital Bedouin, still in progress.
